We remain constant to the faith delivered to us by our forebears in the Anglican Church, the Great Western Church, and all the way back to the Early Church established by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself through His Apostles." Its beliefs are based on the teachings of the Bible as explained in the Creeds and the Tradition of the Church. Its bishops hold valid consecrations and are in Apostolic Succession to the original apostles who were chosen by Christ Himself. The liturgy in use is the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Our family is not an exclusive club. It is open to all who wish to know, worship, and serve our Lord. Our Church is a family of Christians devoted to our Lord Jesus Christ and you are invited to be a part of our family.

The Mission of St. George’s Anglican Church is to teach and preach the Word of God through the Holy Scriptures and administer the Sacraments. The Church is described as Apostolic, Sacramental, Liturgical, Scriptural, and Evangelical. Its goal is to provide a means for the faithful to worship in a manner consistent with biblical doctrine and centuries old Anglican tradition. Anglican worship is a Prayer Book religion whose foundations rest on Scripture, reason, and traditions. Incorporated in the Prayer Book are Thirty-nine Articles of Religion that further define our faith and worship. The Mission of the Anglican Church is to provide a spiritual home for all Christians seeking to worship in unity of spirit and purpose, building a spiritual home, both for our comfort and the glory of God through Christ our Redeemer and only Intercessor.

"We are Anglican in background and tradition. We are Catholic - not in the sense of Roman Catholic, though, no doubt, we have much in common with them. Rather, we accept the whole Christian Faith. We don't want to be 'cafeteria-style' Christians, who pick and choose the parts of the Christian religion that we like, and turn up our noses at the rest.

The Church of Ireland (Traditional Rite) is the continuing Anglican Church body in Ireland. It has congregations at Newtownards, Co. Down; Londonderry; and Stradbally, Co.Leix. The CI(TR) is also a member of the worldwide Traditional Anglican Communion which has member Churches in the USA, Canada, Central America, Australasia, India, South Africa, and Great Britain, as well as in Ireland.
