Washington Area Ministry is devoted to traditional Christian worship, and rebuilding the church of God in the National Capital District and surrounding areas.

Our ministry is a part of the Anglican Church in America which keeps the faith once handed to our forefathers.

The Ministry is seeking like-minded Christians in the Washington, DC area who seek to know Jesus Christ.


We are traditional in our worship.

• We use the 1928 book of Common Prayer.
  
• We believe in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds.
  
• We use the King James Version of the Bible for public worship.

In starting a church, technically speaking, there is nothing to start other than to start meeting. The reality here is that Jesus himself will build his church. Many large churches have started as small groups meeting in someone's home. When a group of 15 more is meeting on a steady basis the people meeting together can decide whether to rent a larger place to worship.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Assemble in His Name. Exercise your gifts for the good of the others. Preach the Word.

The church means a gathering of the faithful in any number. Even two or three can gather in His Name and He will be there. The Washington Area Ministry is seeking good Christian people to rebuild the Church of God. Washington is not fertile soil for a church, but neither was Corinth.

If there be people of God in any city let them gather together.
